Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier have officially finalized their teams for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, set for July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The rosters were revealed live via WNBA Countdown and are available on ESPN and WNBA.com.
With Clark leading the fan vote, she had first pick—and made it count by selecting Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston. Collier responded with Breanna Stewart. The rest of the starters followed: Clark added Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, and Satou Sabally; Collier countered with Allisha Gray, Nneka Ogwumike, and Paige Bueckers.
In the reserve round, Collier had the opening pick. The selections brought in fresh faces and established talent, including Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Angel Reese, Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Plum, Courtney Williams, and Kayla Thornton.
Both captains stayed close to their roots. Clark leaned heavily on her Fever connections—adding Boston and Kelsey Mitchell—and surrounded herself with perimeter shooters. Collier took a different approach, opting for fellow UConn alumni like Stewart and Bueckers while anchoring her roster with veterans such as Ogwumike and Reese.
A unique twist followed the draft: Clark and Collier swapped head coaches. Sandy Brondello, usually with the Liberty, will coach Team Clark, while Cheryl Reeve of the Lynx will take charge of Team Collier. The switch gives each captain a familiar coaching presence for the big night.
Chemistry vs. Experience
Clark’s picks suggest she’s aiming for synergy, with clear loyalty to her Fever teammates. Collier’s roster balances experience and legacy ties, with a UConn-heavy lineup and proven playoff performers.
The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET and will air on ABC, Disney+, and ESPN+. With top-tier talent on both sides, the stage is set for a high-stakes, high-energy night in Indianapolis.
