Tottenham Hotspur has signed a three-year partnership with Sportsbet.io, giving the sportsbook and online casino brand official betting partner status across North America and Africa.
Spurs Add Another Betting Brand to the Roster
The Premier League club confirmed that Sportsbet.io will serve as its Official North America & Africa Betting Partner from the 2026/27 season.
The agreement will focus heavily on digital content and fan engagement aimed at Tottenham supporters outside the UK, particularly across the two regions covered by the deal. Tottenham said the partnership will operate under applicable gambling regulations and football’s Code of Conduct for Gambling Related Agreements.
Sportsbet.io has been active in Premier League sponsorship for several years. Its previous football relationships include Watford, Southampton, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, giving the operator plenty of experience using English football to reach international betting audiences.
Sportsbet.io Targets International Spurs Fans
For Sportsbet.io, Tottenham offers access to a Premier League club with a large overseas following and a particularly valuable digital audience.
The operator plans to build content, promotions and fan experiences around the partnership. Its own announcement points to features including ticket giveaways, VIP experiences and its Clubhouse loyalty programme, alongside betting markets covering Tottenham fixtures.
Sportsbet.io supports both cryptocurrency and traditional fiat payments, helping it appeal to bettors in markets where crypto gambling has built a sizeable following.
Paul Wiggins, Group Chief Operating Officer at Sportsbet.io, said the company sees an opportunity to create entertainment and experiences that give Tottenham supporters more ways to engage with the club.
Tottenham Splits Betting Rights Across Regions
The deal also gives a clearer picture of how Tottenham is dividing its betting partnerships geographically.
In July, the club announced a separate three-year agreement with Betano owner Kaizen Gaming. Betano became an official partner for the men’s first team for the 2026/27 season and is scheduled to transition into Tottenham’s Official Betting Partner for Europe and Latin America after that campaign.
That leaves Sportsbet.io covering North America and Africa, allowing Tottenham to work with different gambling brands across separate markets rather than relying on one global betting sponsor.
For operators, that sort of arrangement can offer more targeted marketing opportunities. A bettor in Canada or South Africa does not necessarily respond to the same promotions, payment methods or betting products as someone in Spain or Brazil.
What the Deal Means for Players
For the average online bettor, the partnership is likely to show up more through promotions and Tottenham-themed content than through anything that changes the actual betting experience.
Sportsbet.io says users can expect Tottenham-related betting markets, Bet Builder options, bet-sharing tools and potential access to ticket giveaways and club experiences. Availability will depend on local gambling rules, which vary sharply across North America and Africa.
The three-year deal gives Sportsbet.io another major Premier League name to market around while Tottenham continues turning its international fan base into separate regional commercial partnerships.
For Spurs supporters who already bet online, expect to see rather more of Sportsbet.io whenever Tottenham takes the pitch.
